The American Conservative Youth Union was founded in February 2006 by two high school students from the Sacramento area, Andy Nevis and Katelyn Sills.
The ACYU strives to give conservative students an outlet to share their opinions and ideas with the world. It may seem to the casual observer that most young people are liberal. The ACYU exists to help correct that perception.
ACYU also provides only the best commentary from young conservatives. Although we want our contributors, some of whom have their own blogs or websites, to send in many submissions, our editors post only the best of these submissions to ensure that everything on the ACYU website is of the utmost quality. Thus, you can be assured that when you point your browser to www.acyu.org, you are receiving the best young conservative commentary out there.
In addition to the blog on the front page, ACYU also publishes a newsletter each Wednesday that features the very best submissions of the week as well as any other news and information about the ACYU. To subscribe to the newsletter, simply send an e-mail to webmaster[at]acyu[dot]org with the word 'subscribe' in the title. There is no age limit on who can subscribe to the newsletter, so if you are 8, 80, or anywhere in between, sign up to get the very best young conservative insight delivered to your inbox each week!
If you are a conservative between the ages of 13 and 21, we would love to have you! Please click here to become a contributor. Just fill out some basic information about you, and we will get back to you shortly with details.
