By Chase Bradstreet
Out of my modesty and humility, I’d like to announce that I have received an appointment to the United States Military Academy (West Point). Unless Vanderbilt offers me a National Merit Scholarship Finalist package that competes with West Point, I’ll be a cadet come June.

Great to hear Chase! There are few professions more honorable and noble than serving your country.

Congratulations on your appointment, it is very prestigious and honorable to become a cadet at the USMA at West Point, regardless if you graduate at the bottom, or top of the class.
I hope you rise through the ranks.

Congrats Chase! As an officer with 25 years of service, I can tell you that you have made a wise choice, and are about to embark on a great adventure. Study hard, and remember to keep a good sense of humor while you are a “pleeb”

Good for you. I wish I could go to West Point myself, but I have a disability so they would never accept me. You are lucky. I wish other people would see the value of conscientiousness in the pursuit of truth.
